Currently a hand sewn kilt pure wool (cloth imported from Scotland) will run somewhere around the $650 price range. This is made by a kilt maker, not an offshore machinist. These are nothing like the $40 items you see on large auction sites. Not all kilts are equal and not all kilts are really kilts.
